We will always respect your privacy, dignity and your religious and cultural beliefs particularly when intimate examinations are advisable - these will only be carried out prior to your express agreement and you will be offered a formal chaperone to attend the examination if you so wish.

You may also request a chaperone when making the appointment or on arrival at the surgery (please let the Patient Services team know at Reception) or at any time during the consultation.

You may request a suitably trained chaperone for any procedure, test or examination.

Additionally, the clinician will request a chaperone should one be required.

Friends and family are not permitted to act as chaperones.

Please note - both male and female clinical team members work within the practice, if you have a preference, please ensure you discuss this when
you book your appointment.

Please note - both male and female formally trained chaperones work within the practice, if you have a preference, please ensure you discuss this when
