Sara runs the surgery in conjunction with the GP Partners on a day to day basis. Sara has worked within NHS Primary Care and managing clinical research sites for over 30 years in a range of roles and this experience helps provide high quality patient care and safety in the practice. Sara leads with the GP Partners in human resource, planning and estates and information technology. Sara is supported in her role by the practice management and leadership teams. Sara inputs into the smooth running of the clinical team with co-ordination of the training of medical students and GP registrars. Sara assists the practice with Data Protection Regulation, Information Governance, Health and Safety and Infection Control. Sara supports the Safeguarding clinical lead in practice. Sara shares responsibility for the management of Preston & South Ribble Primary Care Network as Digital & Transformation Lead. Sara has completed the Lancashire & South Cumbria Population Health Academy's Leadership Development Programme.
